Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Blackout Electric AZ LLC (“Blackout Electric,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website. We collect the minimum we need to quote and perform solar detach and reset and electrical work, and we do not sell personal information.

What we collect

When you request an estimate, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, the job address including street, city, and ZIP code, the service you are asking about, any details you type, and any photos you attach, up to three. We ask for the job address because permit requirements and utility territory in the Valley both change by address, and because the crew has to find the job. Our web host also processes standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and rate limiting.

The roofer partner form

Roofing companies scheduling a detach and reset send us their company name, the submitter’s name and direct cell, an optional email, the homeowner’s full name, the job address, the panel count, a requested tear off date, notes about the job, and optional roof photos. We use this information for one purpose: quoting, scheduling, and performing the detach and reset, including the utility and permitting paperwork that carries the homeowner’s name.

Homeowner information submitted by a partner

The partner form asks a roofing company to submit another person’s details: the homeowner’s name and address. Partners must have the homeowner’s authorization before submitting that information. If you are a homeowner whose details reached us through a roofing partner, you can contact us at any time to see what we hold about you or to have it deleted: info@blackoutelectric.net or (480) 939-0234.

Photos you send us

Photos submitted through either form, such as photos of your roof, array, or electrical panel, are used for one purpose: evaluating and quoting the job. They are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Cloudflare KV), retained for up to 90 days unless the job proceeds and the photos become part of the job record, and are not published, shared, or used in marketing without your explicit permission.

Calls, texts, and email

By submitting a form you consent to Blackout Electric contacting you by phone call, text message, or email about your request, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We contact you about your job, not with marketing campaigns. Reply STOP to any text to end text contact. Any promotional email we ever send complies with CAN-SPAM and includes a working unsubscribe.

Spam protection

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile running in invisible mode, which verifies that a real person is submitting the form rather than an automated script. It runs silently and does not ask you to solve a puzzle or click a checkbox. To do this it collects limited technical information from your browser and processes it under Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Cloudflare does not use this information to build an advertising profile of you.

Website analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages get viewed and how people arrive here. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects usage data like device type, browser, pages viewed, and approximate location. We do not use it to identify you, and its advertising features are not enabled. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not run third party advertising trackers on this site. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the site and communicate with you, or when the law requires it.

Retention and your choices

Estimate and partner requests, including attached photos, are retained up to 90 days; job records for completed work are retained as required for licensing and tax purposes. Whether you filled out a form yourself or a partner submitted your details, you may ask us at any time what we hold about you or ask us to delete it, by contacting info@blackoutelectric.net or (480) 939-0234.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
